There are many activities for parents and children near West Potomac High School.  For those of our friends visiting with children and their spouses, we have compiled a few activities for your family in order to make your stay more memorable and fun.

--   www.funside.com   This Old Town site is designed for visitors to Alexandria.  It cotains many activities that are family oriented as well as other helpful information for guests.

--  www.nvrpa.org/cameron.html  This Alexandria site describes Cameron Run Regional Park.  They offer a batting cage, putt-putt golf course, and a picnic area.  They are open on weekends until 9pm.

--  www.nationalzoo.si.edu  National Zoo is located in Washington D.C.  They are open until 8 pm.  Admission is FREE.  Located on the Metro's Red Line, near Woodley Park and Cleveland Park stops.

--  www.moviewatcher.com/theatres/theatre_information.jsp?unit=337  AMC Hoffman Center 22 opened in 2001.  It is the largest multiplex in Northern Virginia.  It features stadium seating and digital sound.  Located across the street from Metro's Yellow Line at Eisenhower Avenue.
